SHOCKS
Tokico 5 way adjustable Illumina shock series was engineered
specifically as a tuning device for the enthusiast who requires the
best in performance for the street/track and ride comfort for
real-world driving.
The Illumina offers a choice of five settings, #1 for
compliance and #5 for maximum control. A turn of a screwdriver
externally adjusts both rebound and compression damping
simultaneously. Tokico Ilumnia - set of four
Tokico's HP Series (auto-adjust)
damping minimizes low speed damping force and greatly increasing
damping at medium and high piston speeds for improved compliance, tire
adhesion, and handling. Tokico HP - set of four
For the PL510, minor front
shock modification required. For the 1968 to 7/71 build date you need to add approx. a 7/8th
spacer. For cars built from 8/71 to 1973 you need to add approx. a 11/8th inch metal spacer
on the bottom of the front shocks. The rear shocks are bolt-on and require no modifications.
